Studio work is different from other educational practices in management due to its focus on learning-by-making - that is, hands-on creative engagement, aimed at producing atypical results - imaginative problem reframing, innovative solutions, development of synthesis- oriented skill sets, and integrative learning.
By employing a hermeneutic approach - the science of interpretation and meaning creation, we gives ourselves the opportunity to view leading as a constantly emergent, interpretive act – continually seeing the context with new eyes, in which we focus on our experience with others, learning itself, on discovering questions, and on the constant creation of meaning. Development at the level of the individual, group or a whole system then becomes a form of artistry and design making.
